The last time I was in Vegas was 44 years ago when the population was about 100,000 and Circus Circus had just opened. The population now is 588,507 and numerous casinos have grown and changed hands. I was 12 and Vegas wasn't much fun watching through the windows while my parents played the slots. It's one of those things you do in adult lives, so it was good to return to simply see it again. I must admit that it wasn't my first thought to vacation to this year, nor did I ever think that I would see it a second time, but the price of airline tickets changed all of that. I had gotten a ridiculas deal of $144. round trip and I also had built up sky miles, so the flight was taken care of! I hunted up some good room rates and rented a car and off we went! We spent a week at the Cannery (North). The rooms were great and the decor was of 1940's photos and advertising cans. Loved the design on the carpet outside of our room!
We went to do the Fremont Street Experience. It was neat to see during the day, but at night it really came alive!
There were all sorts of lights, lamps and souvenir shops.
There were show girls.
And then there were girls that really showed!
Even some really bad Elvis impersonators were hugged! lolMy favorite was the light show under the canopy!
A wonderful 60's tribute with music was just awesome!
They were awesomely colorful!
There were cats and more cats!
I am now glad that we went!
I shall upload some strip photos and photos of the desert in the days to come, but for now I shall take a breather and let you absorb some Vegas bling!

Vegas was one place I didn't care to go visit. When I sold Stampin Up they had a convention there. My husband really wanted to go. While I stamped he played. We had the best time. I love the lights and the colors. We also took a side trip tour. I am also so glad I went. Your pics are beautiful.
Now, tell me, were those boobs real.
Hi Wanda,
I have been to Las Vegas many times and the last time was, three years ago. I really enjoy seeing all the shows and the lights at night. Love all the beautiful photos. Those banners can be made into quilts! I know you must be in love with the cat one. :)
Those boobs couldn't have been real! Right?
That man standing by her must have told his wife he went to a bakery! LOL
The brown things on her nipples look like Hersey Kisses! LOL
I am sure he was Drooling Big Time!
Hugs and have a lovely weekend
Wow there is bling in abundance here, loving all the brilliant colours. Enjoy the weekend, x
Yep, those boobs were real! I felt I was looking in a mirror! ( Well except they are more like down to my knees.) LOL
Amazing colors. That carpet looks like great inspiration for a quilt.
Yes, I was thinking the same thing about the carpet!
We loved the kittehs! xxoo
Looks like a complete blast! *Jealous*
