When Papillon's Meet

Jessie and I went for a walk yesterday and luckily I had my camera with me.  It seemed the two Papillons were destined to meet.  The tiger swallowtail didn't stay long, but long enough to get these neat shots.
Don't you just love Jessie's butterfly ears?  Such a sweet photo together.
Jessie was curious, but didn't want to get his nose too close. lol

I apologize for not getting back to blog land.  Lots has happened since my last posting.

The biggest delay was being without power for 10 days due to the storms that blew through.  Such a mass outage.  We were one of the lucky ones that didn't have trees down on our property.
Then there were people like these that had damage to their homes and vehicles.
Jessie and I didn't stay in the heat, we ended up moving into my daughter and SIL's house about 45 min away.  She had air and pool side accomodations! lol
While there, I had taken Jessie for a walk and had tripped on an uneven piece of sidewalk.  OUCH!!!
It was scraped but still not really bad.  My SIL had been in a head on car accident a few weeks before and had some triple antibiotic ointment for me to put on it.  Sounded like a good idea at the time, but as it turned out, it had blistered in the heat and my ankle and leg swelled up and got redder.  Actually it was worse than this photograph, but didn't think to photograph it. My main focus was on icing it down and drinking to numb the pain!  LOL  It took quite awhile before the nerve ending pain subsided.

It's much better, but certainly gonna leave a mark!

I am back to creating again, so all is good!

I had fun doing this photo of Jessie by using the free Pic Monkey photo editing software.

The pics of the two papillons are fabulous, Jessie's ears certainly do look like a butterfly and indicates exactly how they got that name.
Ouch, that looks sore, glad it's getting better.
