Very cool piece! Somehow it reminds my of Chrysti Hydeck's self portrait mask in Cate Prato's book Mixed Media Self Portraits. Your clever flower in the eyesocket made me think of a piece she did with a doorknob in an eye socket. I like the puzzle piece shape. I want it. Can I steal it? of course, I don't live close enough to sneak over and break into your studio and steal it, so don't worry!
Me thinks you have been here, Linda. I have already misplaced the piece!!!! Worse yet, I cleaned my studio! lol Hmmm..... I will have to see Cate Prato's book:)
OMG! I found out this week that a recently opened art gallery/studio is offering mixed media workshops! Your piece inspires me to sign up for one! AKshully, I was thinking that I might like to host a mixed media workshop instead of a retirement party. Of course, there would be lots of fun food and many bottles of wine! Want to come? xxoo Patty
