Today's the Day!!!!

I am excited to be participating in my first OWOH event. Sadly it is also the last one offered:( I want to thank Lisa for all of her hard work bringing it all together for everyone to meet across the world! If you want to find out more about the event, click on the matching icon in the side bar.

Just a little about me: I live in the US in SE Ohio. I live with my hubby of 25 years with 15 cats, a huge fabric stash, a long arm machine, several paint brushes and a fetish for all sorts of arts and crafts. I machine quilt for others for a living and love being home nearly every day. In my blog, I share my life, my talents, sometimes tutorials and now my work and some supplies to a lucky winner! I have been waiting to share my loving treasures to give away and hope you enjoy the eye candy. Sit back and have a cup of your favorite beverage as we share each others blogs.

I must say that I have had a hard time making decisions on which to give away, so I am going to leave it to you to chose by leaving a comment on which is your favorite hand painted Dotti Doll.

OH and yes, that's not all, but whoever wins, will also get a pendant necklace I have made with your choice of initials. It can be for you or some one else you plan to give it to.

AND if that's not exciting enough, I always feel the third time is a charm, so in addition I will also let you choose one of three stashes; either quilt fabric and pattern, or if you are into paper crafts, some delightful papers and ephemera or if you like jewelry making an assortment of handmade beads from paper, clays and fibers.

(Note: the beads are shown in a necklace, but they will be loose in bags to create your own)

(UPDATE: Who knew I would have this many visitors! I will have two more drawings so a total of 3 will get a good parcel of goodies! 1st drawn will get first dibs of course!)
ANOTHER UPDATE: Oh my, if there are over 300 now, I will fix another package of goodies so the last doll will also be in the mix!
THIRD UPDATE: You guys are killing me! I have 4 give aways and so many people! I will throw in another surprise package for 5 give aways for 5 years. ALSO 5 extra pendants, making the odds a bit better, so at least 1 in every 50 or less would win:) And that my friends is my final offer! I feel like a game show host. LOL

So there you have it, I am feeling very generous with the 5th and final year of OWOH to leave you with a wonderful bagful of goodies to lick, just for stopping by! hee hee May you be the lucky winner!
State your 3 choices and be sure to have a way I can contact you if you win and will be announced on Feb.17th! If you don't win this time, check back as I will have a Blogoversary coming up and another give away in the works! Happy blog hopping!

Oh my goodness sweetie...
What a gorgeous share this is. I love your little dolls. Their faces are so beautiful. Just perfect for the OWOH giveaway. That necklace grabbed at my heart, and I can so envision one with an "S". Made my little heart go pitter patter.

Beads and lots of beads please. I want to create as well. WOW what a wonderful giveaway. Please enter me. I am already a follower and I can't wait for this one.

Hope you are having a glorious Sunday sweet friend. Thanks again for the wonderful opportunity.

Good morning!
I have recently started following your blog and thought you might like to do the same at decolourant.blogspot.com
I noticed you said you eat, breathe, live anything art. I thought you might be interested to know about deColourant. It removes and replaces the color of dyed fabrics (wool, cotton, hemp, silk, etc) with ease and a slight citrus smell. It is a very exciting product and has just been named one of the TOP 20 new products at CHA 2011. You can check out more at www.harbor-sales.com and order at www.i-kandi.com.

Oh my goodness, your cat antics are hysterical!! I love Bob. I am so happy that you took care of him. And Anise, aka, little orphan Ani!! I also love cats but my children were both allergic so we couldn't have any after my first. I do have a lovely whippet named Rappy that I absolutely adore!!! My kids have always said I love him more than them, well.... somedays that is very true!!! Ha!

Your give aways are lovely. I like the the purple doll the best I think. I really just like them all so it is hard to choose.
I love the necklace and would pick a M for my son's girlfriend. (I am not much of a necklace wearer!!)
For my third choice I would pick the beads. They are wonderful. I do hope I am the lucky winner. But if not, I will continue to enjoy reading about the antics of your many furry friends!

Hello Ms. Needlewings:
I've been here on your blog visiting for quite a while. Got a little caught up in some of the hijinks you've had going in your life! I imagine you're ecstatic about having your "throne" room finished. I think it turned out great. Too bad most people don't invite others in, cuz that's a cool looking spot to have comfy conversation!! Your cop "friend" must've been a quilter in another life to allow you a free pass. Congrats on that!
While you've been extremely generous with your gifting, you have also made it very hard for an old gal like me to choose (and I'm a Libra, who never can decide!) But, I'll give it a shot:
The red-headed dotti, doll! I be sportin' the same!
T is for Tina
Quilting stash: I want to learn & a very nice person gave me a sewing machine last year which I haven't even plugged in yet! It's about time to, don't ya think????
Enjoy the journey of OWOH. Have lots of fun & maybe win some fun of your own. "Stay Fearless", Tina

Holy Cow, woman....you've got some really cooool stuff in your giveaway...I would love any of it...ok, all of it!! LOLOLOL!!

Yea, Vegas was always a real bust for us kids. Like I said, we'd swim and burn all day and at night, we'd eat and watch television!! I do remember many times waiting on the side of the casino perimeters, sitting and waiting for our parents to just stop with the slots. However, I used to make it a game with my sibs on who the funniest looking dressed people we could find and as you probably can remember, that was a really fun thing to see...lots of weirdos!!

As for traveling all over the U.S., how wonderful. I can honestly say, I've only seen a handful of states and mostly in the western part of the US. Mexico is a gorgeous country, unfortunately, it's under seige right now due to the drug cartel violence. Juarez has become one of the most dangerous places in the world right now. We've had a mass exodus of Mexicans coming over here, legally, and setting up shop, literally, here since they couldn't make a peso over there...no more tourism..dried up after all the violence.

I used to go every weekend to my grandparents house and we played in my grandmother's garden and visit my cousins who lived just a block away...those were wonderful memories of times long gone and a lovely little city long gone too.

Ok, I've rambled enough. Thanks again for coming over and telling me a bit of your life.
