Give Me A Hand

I was working on some "hand" journal pages for a trade on one of my Ning groups. We were to trace our hands and put an art quote on one side and do some art work on the other side. It was a lot of fun coming up with something different on each one.

I also had some help from an artist in the family.
He's a regular Pi"cat"so!
Now I shall have to go work on some quilts. By the way, has anyone seen my thread?

What thread?

The hand quotes are great and I don't know if they were in order of how you did them but the last ones down were a hoot. You seemed to be in a groove. Yes, cats do think they can paint and add to your paintings and carpet and floors. The thread thing.....ooooooooh....heard about one lady who had to take her cat to the vet when he was having internal problems from eating the thread from her sewing room floor.
Naughty kitties. :)Bea

Your photos of your little 'pi-cat-so' made me laugh - he's too cute!

Love your hand journal pages - so colourful and some lovely sentiments too - and your lettering is fantastic!

Thanks for your comments.

Yes, I have heard too many horror stories of cats swallowing thread. It isn't something that Cheddar does, it was just sort of funny that he went to sniff it and it stuck to his mouth. I happened to have my camera handy. I watch my pins too. It had always been a nightmare thinking that they could possibly swallow them. One cat was always pulling pins out of my quilt! I kept thinking that I should have bought her, her own cactus plant!

Honey and Boa are my two cat painters! It never fails, I usually have a decorated floor and table top when I am working.

Sorry to hear about your kitty Suzanne. I can fix you up with any color you want. hee hee. We aren't for lack of any!

Oh, forgot to mention. The hands you see are front and back pieces. They will become it's own journal book from the trades I recieve so I shall put in rings to flip them as pages.
